Job Posting: Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) Location: Kern River Transitional Care Center Bakersfield, CA Pay: $19.00 $21.00/hour (DOE) Status: Full-Time | Skilled Nursing Facility Kern River Transitional Care is seeking a dedicated Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to join our caring team! We are looking for a compassionate and motivated CNA with an active RNA certification to support our residents in maintaining and improving mobility, independence, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with restorative exercises and mobility programs. Support transfers, ambulation, range of motion, and positioning. Provide assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and bathing. Support therapy departments with active/passive ROM as needed. Help residents prepare for activities, appointments, and daily meals. Assist with toileting, including catheter care and hygiene routines. Maintain clean, comfortable clothing and bedding for residents. Observe, report, and document changes in condition to nursing or therapy teams. Foster a warm, calm, and positive atmosphere in the facility. Qualifications: Required: Valid CNA license in California and RNA Certificate Required: Current CPR certification Preferred: 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of PCC charting software a plus Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, pushing/pulling, stooping, and kneeling Must be able to frequently stand and assist residents with mobility Why Join Kern River Transitional Care?
