This position offers the 9/80 schedule. Linthicum, MD Redondo Beach, CA McLean, VA Fairfax, VA Rolling Meadows, IL. What Youll Get to Do The Senior Principal Contract Administrator will provide senior-level contract closeout support across all Mission Systems divisions. This role reports to the Contract Closeout Manager. The Mission Systems sector is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Principal Contract Administrator to lead contract closeout activities across the division. This role is responsible for all contract closeout functions and will be involved in project management, operations, planning, data analytics, reporting, and interfacing with key internal stakeholders. The individual will serve as the focal point for contract closeout matters and must demonstrate the ability to perform complex tasks independently with minimal oversight. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and will represent the organization on contract closeout matters. The role involves frequent interaction with senior internal and external stakeholders on significant issues, often requiring coordination across organizations. The candidate may be asked to develop and deliver briefings and presentations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead and coordinate company responses to customer requests related to contract closeouts Maintain excellent working relationships with customers to effectively communicate, administer closeout modification, negotiate quick closeout settlements, and coordinate canceling funds actions with internal and external customer Drive final administrative closeout activities in compliance or accordance with contract clauses, ensuring required closeout certifications are obtained from all functional organizations Maintain and update contract closeout documentation and official program records, including contractual documents and correspondence Prepare and report monthly metrics and interface with government and commercial customers regarding physically complete contracts pending administrative closeout or related issues Lead data management activities for the Contract Closeout team, including compiling and reporting division-level closeout metrics Perform all duties in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree with 8 years of related professional experience, or a Masters degree with 6 years of related professional experience Experience working with FAR and DFARS Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Experience administering multiple contract types, including Time and Materials, Cost-type, and Firm Fixed Price contracts Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience with contract closeout administration Experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense contracts Proven ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts Experience briefing senior internal and external customers Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module What We Can Offer You Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. MSBSMG Primary Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $176,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
