Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Admissions, the Admissions counselor I or II of Post-Traditional, Graduate, and Doctoral Admissions serves as a new student recruiter and the admissions manager. With a primary emphasis on relationship-building from inquiry through matriculation, this position is responsible for recruitment activities that support the enrollment of new students into Regis University. Admissions counselor I or II is accountable for achieving individual and team enrollment goals. This role represents Regis University to a wide range of constituencies, including prospective students, their families, community colleges, healthcare organizations, and other community partners both within and outside Colorado. The Admissions counselor I or II will execute and support strategic recruitment initiatives, conduct holistic application reviews, and ensure strong cross-departmental collaboration to enhance student experience. This role directly supports the Universitys Jesuit mission and strategic enrollment goals through inclusive outreach, data-informed decision-making, and student- centered engagement. Successful candidates are relationship-driven professionals who are passionate about higher education, student development, and achieving both personal and team enrollment goals through thoughtful, student-centered engagement. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills, data-informed decision making, and expertise in at least one key area of enrollment success and willingness to engage in at least one committee. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Recruit for program and provide Administrative & Team Support to ensure the effective enrollment of targeted new students. Serve as a collaborative member of the admissions team, support university committees and initiatives, and perform additional duties that advance the Regis mission and Jesuit educational values. Utilize best practice relationship-building and decision-making with prospective students, and maintain accurate, complete records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Leverage CRM tools to track and measure recruitment outcomes and execute targeted outreach. Travel extensively within Colorado during the Fall and Spring semesters, including regular visits to approximately 13 community colleges and bi-weekly tabling at key feeder institutions. Build strong institutional partnerships and promote seamless transfer opportunities. Engage in off-campus recruitment efforts at healthcare organizations, industry-specific events, and community programs, representing Regis Universitys post-traditional, graduate, and doctoral programs. This includes preparing materials, delivering presentations, and supporting student-led follow-up. Host after-hours info sessions and webinars, tailored for working adults and non-traditional prospective students. Requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet prospective student availability. Professional Development & Goal Achievement Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives while meeting qualitative and quantitative enrollment goals aligned with Regis Universitys mission and values. Working Conditions: Standard office setting on Regis campuses, with hybrid work flexibility based on tenure and departmental needs. Extensive in-state travel required during peak recruitment periods (Fall and Spring), including visits to 13+ community colleges and multiple industry events. Regular participation in evening and weekend events, including webinars, community outreach, and recruitment fairs. Must be able to lift, carry, and set up materials weighing 1030 pounds for events. A valid drivers license and university-approved driver status are required. Must have the ability to travel between campuses and external sites reliably. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree Valid Drivers License 1+ years of experience in a higher education environment or in a recruitment position Preferred Qualifications (Any of these would be helpful!)
