Jacksonville Distribution Hourly - US Forklift Operator

We are currently in search of a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator to join our growing team in our Distribution Center located in Jacksonville! Your responsibility is to accurately and quickly service a very fast paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety in the industry. We are looking for a successful candidate that will possess knowledge and skill in FIFO principals, as well as RF scanning equipment and be prepared to meet any challenge. This position will pay $22.90/hour and work 9:00am- 5:30pm Monday through Friday. Job Summary Operate forklift equipment, cherry pickers, high reach equipment safely and effectively; maintain equipment and report malfunctions. Perform warehouse duties including receiving and locating product within the RF scanner technology. Accurately pick, stack, wrap and stage outbound freight ensuring that warehouse goals are met. Implement work in the prescribed sequence so deliver-by-date is met. Work proficiently to meet Productivity, Quality and Safety targets. Load/unload trucks. Maintain a strict housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols. Report unsafe work conditions/environment in a timely basis. Cycle Counts & Stock Replenishment. Requirements High school degree or equivalent. Proven work experience safely operating forklifts, cherry picker and high reach equipment. Meet daily timelines and work in an environment, where assignments and work priorities are reviewed several times a day. Ability to use RF technology. Comfortable using a harness and line yard, as well as comfortable with heights Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred. Solid work history/tenure vs. job hopping is required. Good interpersonal skills; work well as a team but be self-motivated and independent at times. Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly; ability to stand on your feet for the duration of the shift. Able to read and write in English. Steel toed shoes/boots are required. Successful completion of a drug screen, physical, and criminal background check.
