Full Job Description

Hours: 5am-3:30pm Monday - Thursday Wage: $19/hr Who Are We? American Augers, located in West Salem, Ohio is a division of The Toro Company. American Augers builds the largest horizontal directional drills in the industry, and a full range of auger boring machines. With the rugged user in mind, American Augers rigs are built to last and backed by 24-hour worldwide support. A mechanical assembler performs highly repetitive work such as aligning, mounting, connecting, and installing assemblies and/or sub-assemblies. They will use standard assembly procedures, power tools, hand tools and equipment. What Will You Do? Complete assembly of intricate and expensive apparatus, machines or equipment with a large number of parts, or erection of very large and complicated units. Bolting, screwing, clipping or otherwise fastening parts together using a variety of hand tools (electric and pneumatic). Considerable fitting, aligning and adjusting to very close tolerances and strict inspection requirements. Highly diversified tasks What Do You Need? To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: Technical knowledge and ability to follow standard work and procedures. Experience in using power tools required. Must be able to read and assemble to blueprints. Diesel mechanic and electrical experience preferred. The Toro Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
