Full Job Description

Primary Location: 3452 Spur 399, McKinney, Texas, 75069 We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities. Job Summary: Under the direction of the executive director of the Collin College Foundation, coordinate the Collin College Foundation Scholarship program. Manage student application cycle, applicant review process, and awards implementation. Required Qualifications: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate the Foundations biannual scholarship application and awards process. Develop proactive strategies to improve the integrity of the data in the donor database as well as the scholarship management database. Monitor compliance with donor agreement guidelines and successfully align applicants to eligible scholarship awards. Prepare scholarship application process for students and coordinates scholarship application reviewing and scoring. Serve as liaison with software vendors and proactively engage in and advocate for efficiencies in the awards cycle. Act as the primary point of contact for telephone and email inquiries from students, providing courteous, timely and relevant information on available scholarships, awards received and financial disbursements, application procedures, recipient qualifications and requirements, and applicable deadlines. Track all application decisions, stewardship requirements, and outcomes. Prepare scholarship data reports as requested. Manage scholarship payables with accounting and financial aid and maintain correct available fund balances for award cycles. Support the coordinator of events and other foundation staff in planning and conducting the annual student and donor scholarship dinner. Supplemental Functions Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Access Knowledge of Blackbaud Award Management Knowledge of system and problem-solving skills to effectively communicate with students, faculty, IT, Financial Aid, other departments, and vendors Knowledge of foundation scholarships Knowledge of Raiser's Edge database Prioritization skills Project management skills Interpersonal skills Problem solving skills Verbal and written communication skills Organization skills Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Ability to pay attention to detail Ability to think creatively Ability to coordinate large-scale events Ability to manage volunteers Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, plus climbing and balancing.
