Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a related field, and four (4) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. Experience working with complex budget/accounting processes. Demonstrated experience utilizing and developing financial templates and databases in business software applications. Experience in various financial activities such as purchasing, travel, personnel, cost analysis and budget planning. Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential subjects in a highly professional and non-confrontational manner. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to understand, value, and promote diversity. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). Experience interpreting and applying policies and procedures. Familiarity with higher education or state agency financial policies and procedures; Workday or other forecasting software.
