Full Job Description

Join our team as a Groundskeeper & Light Maintenance Technician at our Tucson House location! Tucson House is a 360-unit, 55+ affordable housing high-rise. As part of this welcoming senior community, youll help keep the property safe, clean, and comfortableensuring residents feel proud to call Tucson House home. As a Groundskeeper & Light Maintenance Technician, youll support the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the property. From maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces to completing light repairs and assisting with service requests, your work makes a direct, meaningful impact on the daily lives of our residents. What Youll Do: Maintain the grounds through mowing, trimming, watering, weeding, and general outdoor upkeep Complete light maintenance tasks including painting, minor repairs, appliance servicing, and assisting with apartment turnovers Respond to service requests and ensure work areas are cleaned and restored after completion Conduct regular inspections of grounds, buildings, and equipment, reporting issues promptly Assist with exterior lighting checks, and emergency maintenance when assigned Build strong, positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members What Were Looking For: High school diploma or GED Experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, or related work Reliable transportation and personal tools Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs Ability to read and complete work orders Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness Team-oriented and comfortable interacting with a wide range of people Why Youll Love Working With Us Competitive salary starting at $17/hour plus eligibility in our property bonus program!
