Medical Assistant - Women's Health OB/GYN & Imaging center Days As a Medical Assistant in Women's Health, you will provide compassionate, patient focus and superior customer service - keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information. Assist Practitioners and Management by taking vital signs and accurate histories of patients in the practice. Welcome and direct visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas. Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities. This is a full-time day (10:00AM - 6:00PM) position located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Preferred Criteria Knowledge of EMR systems Medical Assistant Certification Experience working in Women's Health and/or OB/GYN Required Criteria High School Diploma or GED Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program Candidate must possess excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and a strong desire to Put Patients First Basic computer skills required Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
