About the Role: As a Food and Nutrition Aid at Columbine Commons, you will tend and serve residents through food service, maintain clean tables, and wash dishes. Join our team as a Food and Nutrition Aide and provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents! Prepare food and beverages as requested by the supervisor/manager or chef. Take meal orders and serve meals, beverages, and snacks according to dietary needs. Record special food items served to residents and provide cheerful, efficient service. Manage dining room service, ensuring timely meal delivery and assisting customers with special dining needs. Maintain salad/specialty bars, make coffee and iced tea, and keep stations clean. Clear tables, change linens, reset tables, and maintain a safe, sanitary dining environment. Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glasses, pots, pans, silverware, and cooking utensils. Organize stockroom, walk-ins, and reach-ins, discard cardboard boxes, and empty trash. Complete tasks accurately and timely, adhering to dining room duty list. Comply with Health Department regulations. Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For: Experience and Education: At least 16 years of age. At least one month of applicable experience or training. Skills: Ability to effectively able to read and interpret documents. Ability to communicate effectively. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to reason and problem solve. Basic technical skills. Attributes: Sanitation and safety awareness. Attentional to detail Compassionate and empathetic Adaptable Problem solving. Teamwork. Communication skills. Customer service orientation. Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $15 - $15.75/hr.
