We are recruiting for a motivated Front Desk Receptionist, Patient Relations to join our team! We are here for lifes journey. Where is your life journey taking you? Department Service Excellence Job Summary: Under general supervision, this role is part of the team that staffs one of three Patient Information desks located on the main campus of Denver Health. This person greets patients and visitors, answers phone calls, communicates other appropriate information, and provides general clerical support to a variety of customers. The person in this role will demonstrate excellent customer service with both internal and external customers, and understands the value and impact this has on all interactions. Bi-lingual in English-Spanish is highly desired. ***MondayFriday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with flexibility to shift to 12:30 PM9:00 PM as needed to support evening coverage, including during PTO, vacations, or other staffing gaps. Essential Functions: Provides customer service to staff, the public and clients, greeting them and assisting them with needs and/or directing them accordingly. (10%) Provides clerical support to management and supervisors as needed or requested. (10%) Maintains office equipment (copier, printers, fax, etc.) in operable order. (10%) Submits repair tickets for equipment malfunction, facility work orders, and medical equipment accordingly and maintains follow-up on all repair tickets and work orders for completion. (10%) Maintains ordering for department medical, clinical, janitorial and office supplies. (10%) Verifies order delivery- Follows-up on order errors and/or back orders. (10%) Fills office supply requests and maintains office/administrative supply stock. (10%) Completes ordering processes as established by departmental or DHHA established guidelines for purchasing. (10%) Prepares documents routinely or as needed. Follows guidelines for specific document processing. (10%) Retrieves management signature and routes to appropriate department. Maintains follow-up of process completion. (10%) Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of clerical experience required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent customer service skills. Ability to complete routine work with minimal direction from supervisor. Ability to multi-task, skilled in basic office procedures/responsibilities. Ability to exercise some judgment within job scope. Skilled in organization and attention to detail. Acquires knowledge of operations to be able to sufficiently perform job responsibilities.
