Schedule Monday through Friday 6am until finish, 40 hours per week Pay Starting at $17 per hour What we offer Medical, Prescription Drug, EFAP Benefits after 30 days of employment Dental, vision and other voluntary plans Pre-Tax Saving Accounts Profit Sharing Family culture and career advancement opportunities Responsibilities Include Cleans, trims, slices meat using knives, cleavers, and other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming. Inspects and performs Quality Control checks and communicates with supervisors and managers regarding any defects. Separates meats and byproducts into specified containers and seal containers. Weighs meats and tag containers for weight and contents. Follows companys detailed product specifications. Performs other duties as assigned What we require Must have working knowledge of production equipment. Demonstrate ability to trim various cuts of meats in an accurate and timely manner. Follows companys Quality Control procedures and meet customer specifications. Must be a team player and work in a fast paced, high pressure, challenging environment. Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, in English. Halperns values our customers and understands that their success is largely dependent upon their workforce.
