UX Researcher II - HYBRID NYC

About the Role We are seeking a UX Researcher II to support fastpaced research initiatives focused on AIpowered legal product experiences. Based in New York City, this role works closely with product and engineering teams and engages directly with large law firms to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for innovation. You will partner with a senior researcher while independently leading smalltomedium research projects. Responsibilities Plan and conduct user research studies using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand research questions and product goals Conduct rapid discovery and evaluative research to inform AIpowered product experiences Engage directly with customers and legal professionals to understand workflows, needs, and pain points Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear findings, insights, and recommendations Communicate research insights in ways that influence product and design decisions Work with designers and product teams to iterate and validate solutions Use AIassisted tools to support research planning, synthesis, analysis, and insight communication Requirements Experience with user research methods such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, diary studies, or field research Ability to independently lead smalltomedium research projects Experience synthesizing research findings into actionable recommendations Familiarity with survey or research tools such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Dovetail, or similar platforms Experience using Generative AI and emerging AIenabled user experiences Comfort working in fastpaced, iterative product development environments Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills Work in a Way That Works for You We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
