This Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting a cutting-edge manufacturing operation with locations around the globe. As a Senior Accountant a typical day might include the following: Under moderate supervision: Applying working knowledge of accounting and finance principles to perform and/or review a variety of journal entries, account analyses, workpapers, and reconciliations. Preparing analysis of financial results requiring some judgment and creativity for management review, and providing other support and recommendations for division management. Preparing budgets, projections, product cost analyses, and other analyses, and/or assisting in implementation or review of internal controls. Performing research and planning according to generally accepted accounting principles, tax laws, and/or IFRS, and making recommendations to management. Leading special projects. This job might be for you if: You have a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. You are innovative, motivated, self-directed. You have a working knowledge of accounting and finance principles, theories, and concepts, or working knowledge of GAAP. You have 3+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related field. You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills. Preferred Qualifications: CPA, CMA, or CFA; or Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; or MBA. Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Willingness to travel internationally. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
