Job Summary: Support the oversight of custodial operations and contract services to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant campus environment. Assist in managing custodial contracts, monitoring service quality, coordinating operations, and supporting performance tracking and reporting. Contribute to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across campus facilities. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Required Qualifications: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in oversight of custodial contracts to ensure compliance with service agreements and standards. Monitor and inspect custodial services to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Support coordination of custodial operations including event setup, cleaning, and special requests. Manage and track work orders using CMMS and ensure timely completion. Assist in contract administration including documentation, invoice review, and service tracking. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure proper service delivery and procurement compliance. Collect, analyze, and report operational data to support decision-making and performance improvement. Assist in budget tracking, expense forecasting, and preparation of operating and capital requests. Serve as liaison between custodial contractors and campus departments to resolve issues. Respond to operational issues and emergencies to ensure timely resolution and continuity of services. Supplemental Functions Perform other duties as assigned. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, climbing and balancing, plus pushing, pulling and lifting. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting and intense noises. Frequent exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and/or hazards. Majority of work performed outside or with exposure to risk. Frequent physical effort required. Requirements Associate degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of related experience in contract or facilities management. One (1) year of supervisor or lead experience, or one (1) year in a custodial supervisory or lead role. Experience working with service contractors. Licenses and Certifications Valid Texas Drivers License* and insurability with the college's insurance carrier. *Individuals hired for this position may be required to drive a company vehicle. A Motor Vehicle (MVR) Report will be run in conjunction with the background check during the contingent offer stage and annually/bi-annually for the duration of employment at Collin College.
