Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our growing team in Seattle, WA! In this role, you'll provide direct client support for Employee Benefits clients, partnering closely with our production staff to deliver best-in-class service across a large, multi-line book of business. How You Will Contribute: Serve as a direct point of contact for Employee Benefits clients. Prepare new business and renewal bid specifications, proposals, and related reports. Perform marketing functions, including carrier negotiations and follow-up. Liaise with clients and underwriters to gather information and resolve questions. Draft or assist with technical and sensitive client correspondence. Support clients through applications and submission documentation. Coordinate and/or lead open enrollment meetings as needed. Prepare benefit summaries and experience reports for experience-rated and self-insured clients. Complete checklists and required actions for new and renewal business. Review contracts and benefit booklets for accuracy. Licenses & Certifications: Current Washington State Insurance License, plus applicable Non-Resident Licenses. Valid driver's license and willingness to complete ongoing continuing education. Skills & Experience to Be Successful: Minimum 5 years of recent agency experience servicing a large, multi-line book of business. Strong understanding of funding options (fully insured, self-insured, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insurance concepts for clients at any level. Sharp analytical and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to accuracy and quality control. Ability to evaluate and compare benefit plan designs across all lines of coverage. Strong organizational skills comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting deadlines. Proficiency with MS Office and agency management software systems. A collaborative, team-first mindset and genuine interest in growing within the insurance industry. Pay Range 100000.00 - 110000.00 Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
