Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Producer to join our growing team in Denver, CO! Reporting to a Office Leader or executive, individuals whose primary responsibilities are in the sales and renewal of business and defined as "producer" by participation in the TOP GUN program. Compensation can consist of commission in addition to base salary, at the offices discretion. Business is primarily conducted outside of the physical location of the branch or office. How You Will Contribute: Responsible for the development and successful acquisition of new business revenue from new and existing clients. Participation in the presentation of our services at prospect meetings. Bring new business prospects to closure. Work closely with the Leader to set and achieve sales goals; and with the service team to ensure the delivery of services. Prospect sectors or market areas by identifying business needs and proposing company products and services. Obtain prospects and actively pursue and create interest by telephone calls, writing letters, or making personal visits. Maintain currency and further develop expertise in declared sector or market area by networking and participating in professional development activities. Performs miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned Licenses and Certifications: A current Life and Health and/or licensed as a Producer of Property and Casualty in applicable state must be maintained. Skills & Experience to Be Successful: A minimum of 2-5 years experience at an insurance brokerage preferred. Additional insurance education is a plus. Ability to actively generate prospects and set appointments for new client opportunities. Energetic, highly motivated team player who has strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with current and prospective clients and markets. Team player who is driven by the opportunities of the competitive marketplace and by being on a winning team. Flexibility to meet the needs of our clients through initiative and integrity. This position may require routine or periodic travel, which may require the team members to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. If required, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position. Pay Range $70,000 - $85,000 Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
