Located in: Wayne, New Jersey 07470 Pediatric Ophthalmology practice in Wayne area is seeking a full-time ophthalmic assistant/technician. Experience in performing history intake, vision including color vision, stereopsis, auto refraction, visual field testing and contact lens training is helpful, but will train. Other office duties will include making appointments, ordering contact lenses, and restocking exam rooms. Pleasant demeanor and exceptional interpersonal skills, especially with children. Duties and Responsibilities The duties include, but are not limited to: Patient history intake Vision testing including color vision, stereopsis, auto refraction, visual field testing Make patient appointments Order contact lenses Restock exam rooms Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Qualifications or Education, Training and Experience High school or equivalent College or technical school At least 1 year of Ophthalmic experience- Certification required within 1 year of employment Featured Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance. 401K with automatic employer contribution. The compensation range for this position is $18.00/hour $24.00/hour. Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
