SailPoint is seeking a Pricing Strategy Manager to lead and optimize value capture across our innovative product portfolio. In this high-impact role, you will craft and execute pricing strategies that drive profitability, improve win rates, and maximize customer value across our solutions. As a key leader in pricing strategy, you will influence major decisions, such as researching and developing monetization strategies, setting prices for new products, defining product-line packaging, and developing portfolio pricing strategies. You'll lead the analysis, evaluation, and execution of pricing initiatives with product and go-to-market teams. Beyond specific projects, this role will serve as an internal pricing advisor, own the frequent evaluation of our pricing, and lead customer value and willingness-to-pay research and initiatives. What you will do: Lead strategic pricing projects incorporating research and analysis Build and maintain relationships with senior management throughout the SailPoint organization, influence cross-functional and senior decision-making, alignment, & strategy Drive the Pricing center of excellence to standardize and elevate pricing strategies across SailPoints product portfolio Perform robust pricing and customer analytics and research and use surveys like Max-Diff, Gabor Granger, and Van Westendorp to assess customer preferences and willingness to pay Orchestrate decision-making of product strategy and monetization policies and processes Work closely with various business functions to identify opportunities, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using different techniques and tools such as Tableau About you: 5+ years of experience supporting product and go-to-market pricing strategy for SaaS products Strong analytics skills and experience working with large datasets to identify trends and opportunities Experience communicating in a structured, clear way - to drive alignment, make pricing recommendations, and showcase progress against business outcomes - with diverse stakeholders of all seniority levels Understanding of SaaS/subscription and software licensing models; understanding of two-tier channel and other indirect models. Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (written, visual, & verbal) as well as influence effectively across all levels of the organization Knowledge of new product introduction launches and go-to-market processes Excellent end-to-end generalist problem solving skills, including developing logical, actionable recommendations High level of Excel proficiency and analysis and/or financial modeling skills Strong business acumen, including building business cases and developing clear hypotheses Bonus points for: Extra kudos for SalesForce, SQL, R, Tableau skills Expertise in designing customer and market research to inform pricing and packaging strategies Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoints differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD): $109,200 - $184,080.00 Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employees home location.
