Campus Vet Clinic is growing and adding doctors to our team. We are looking to add experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians to support them. Salary: $28 35 per hour depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location. Schedule: Full-time, four 8-hour shifts Location: 1807 Martin Luther King Jr Way, Berkeley, CA 94709 Who We Are: Campus Vet Clinic is a team-focused, fun place to work and care for all the furry friends. We pride ourselves on committing to our core values of: · Integrity · Respect · Communication · Supportive creativity Who You Are: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in California, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire 3 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required. Knowledge of industry tools and equipment, experience with Cornerstone software a plus Passion for working with animals and their owners Experience with proper animal handling and restraint Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills Dental Experience, scaling, polishing, extractions, suturing Skilled in IV Catheter placement, urinary catheter placement, applying casts, bandages and splints Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation; Idexx laboratory equipment Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis And all other duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowable by law What Makes Us Different Referral program join our team, bring your friends, and get paid!
