Schedule includes a lot of early mornings, some evenings and occasional weekends. Locations: Northern Colorado Medical Center, McKee and Banner Fort Collins Medical Center. We are seeking a dedicated team member to join our close-knit group of professionals who work collaboratively and often commute together to our various location. This position requires someone who thrives in a small team environment and is comfortable with our established early morning schedule. Banner Occupational Health Clinics are medical clinics specializing in worker's compensation injury care, drug testing, alcohol testing, physical examinations, Department of Transportation exams and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandated exams. Employers and employees alike benefit from reduced absenteeism and turnover, increased productivity, morale and job satisfaction and are less likely to become sick or injured. POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for performing a wide range of health promotion services, activities, and programs throughout an assigned region. CORE FUNCTIONS 1. Implements health promotion programs including screenings, health risk assessments, wellness & fitness education, classes, intervention programs, and other activities. 2. Represents hospital services to external & internal publics, creating appropriate referrals and cross-selling opportunities to meet the need of the customer. 3. Provides support in program implementation, delivery and evaluation of wellness needs of a targeted population. 4. Provides presentations on educational information and evaluations for groups on various wellness and fitness topics. Tabulates and summarizes program evaluations to validate program effectiveness and to seek areas of program improvement. 5. Works independently under general supervision. Provides a defined set of services to assigned employee groups. Uses specialized knowledge to provide services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree and/or equivalent training in Wellness, Exercise Physiology, Nutrition or health related field from accredited college or university required. Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills required. This position requires flexible hours and excellent customer service. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bilingual skills, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, and any additional health & fitness certifications preferred. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
