Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and organized Kids Care Coordinator to oversee and enhance our childcare programs, ensuring a safe, engaging, and family-friendly environment for our members. This role involves functioning as a lead to Kids Care staff, fostering meaningful relationships with children and parents, and maintaining efficient operations. Responsibilities: Build meaningful and memorable relationships with children and their families. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere for all children in the program. Design and implement age-appropriate learning and educational activities. Foster a playful and family-friendly environment that promotes fun and engagement. Maintain professional appearance and demonstrate a courteous and helpful attitude. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring adherence to department standards and expectations. Collaborate with team members to build a strong, cohesive, and effective team environment. Schedule staff shifts and approve payroll and time-off requests, ensuring alignment with budgeted hours. Monitor program performance, implement improvements, and attend departmental meetings as necessary. Build strong relationships with fitness facility members, promoting a sense of community and trust. Qualifications: Prior customer service and childcare experience required. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required (must have infant, child & adult). At least 6 months of experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Demonstrated ability to create engaging projects and activities for children. Outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Genuine enthusiasm and passion for working with children. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $16.00/hour to $18.00/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
