This role is essential to creating meaningful, resident-centered activities that promote dignity, independence, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities Plan, develop, and implement daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs Coordinate outings, group activities, and 1:1 engagement with residents Participate in care planning, assessments, and discharge planning Supervise and mentor activity staff to ensure quality programming Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff Ensure compliance with state and federal activity regulations Document activity services and resident progress Qualifications Activity Director Certification required High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of long-term care activity experience preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Organized, detail-oriented, and resident-focused Why Ridgeway Post Acute At Ridgeway, youll be part of a supportive, team-oriented environment where your creativity and leadership directly impact the lives of residents.
