Full Job Description

Position Compensation Range: $80,000.00 - $131,000.00 Pay Rate Type: Salary Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates. This Senior Financial Analyst supports enterprise decision-making through cost benefit analysis (CBA), financial evaluation of initiatives, and other ad hoc financial analyses as needed. You will partner with leaders across the AmFam Enterprise to assess investment options, quantify financial impact, highlight tradeoffs, and deliver clear recommendations. This role strengthens financial discipline by improving consistency, transparency, and repeatability of how we evaluate business cases and priority decisions. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis. In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from either Madison, WI 53783 or Boston, MA 02110 Internal candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of location and will be considered based upon the needs of the role. Primary Accountabilities You will lead cost benefit analyses for enterprise initiatives, including quantification of benefits, cost estimates, timing/phasing, and key assumptions. You will build and maintain business case models (e.g., NPV, payback, MIRR, sensitivity/scenario analysis) to support prioritization and funding decisions. You will partner with initiative owners to ensure business cases are complete, credible, and decision-ready, including risks, dependencies, and measurement approach. You will provide portfolio-level insights on project performance, value realization, and drivers of variance from expected outcomes (when applicable). You will deliver executive-ready summaries that translate financial analysis into clear recommendations, tradeoffs, and implications. You will support ad hoc financial analyses across the AmFam Enterprise (e.g., vendor evaluations, operating model changes, targeted trend analysis, opportunity sizing). You will improve financial analysis by strengthening data management, standard templates, and repeatable modeling approaches to reduce manual effort and increase comparability across initiatives. You will serve as a finance representative on cross-functional teams to ensure financial impacts are understood and reflected in decisions. Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact, customer-centric partnershipactively listening to stakeholder needs, translating ambiguity into clear financial insights, communicating with influence, and providing responsive, high-service support that enables confident decision-making. Demonstrated experience performing cost benefit analysis, business case development, and financial modeling for initiatives or investments. Proficiency in Excel; experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Oracle, Anaplan) preferred.
