Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) is looking for Senior Project Manager, Commercial Enablement based in Alameda, CA. This position operates on flexible working hours to effectively support teams in both the US and APAC regions. The position is part of a team that is responsible for driving cross-functional Commercial Enablement Digital Product Programs and capabilities from initial concept to market launch that drive the Commercial strategic objectives. You will lead complex, multistakeholder projects within the commercial ecosystem and partner closely with the hiring manager to coordinate budget, timelines, resources, manage product roadmap, prioritization, and assist with longrange planning. This is a highly visible role that drives execution, consistency, and accountability across a dynamic portfolio of programs. What Youll Work On Lead endtoend project delivery of different types of digital projects such as the APAC implementation of Veeva Vault Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and global implementation of Allego Learning Management System (LMS). Drive project planning, execution, risk management, dependency tracking, budgeting, and change management for assigned programs. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, status reports, timeline updates, and stakeholder communications. Enable global collaboration, facilitating communication across time zones to ensure alignment among global teams. Support deployment readiness, change management, and adoption, coordinating training, communications, and postlaunch stabilization activities. Identify opportunities to improve processes, harmonize workflows, and strengthen project governance across the Commercial Enablement team. Has the flexibility to quickly adapt and produce in a rapidly changing environment, meeting aggressive launch schedules. Formulates, harmonizes and consolidates project scopes, plans, strategies, and budgets for one or more projects, working closely with functional Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts from Commercial, Marketing, Technical Operations, APAC regional teams, IT, Quality, Legal, Privacy, and other business units to ensure coordinated execution. Champion PMO best practices to elevate consistency, transparency, and project discipline across workstreams. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in a discipline appropriate to the project or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum 5 years of related work experience. Extensive knowledge of project management processes. Ability to understand the fundamental solution being developed/deployed - its business value, roadmap, how it fits with the overall strategy or risks. Extensive in-depth knowledge of project planning techniques and working knowledge of automated project planning tools required. Preferred Qualifications Previous work experience in the medical devices industry. Process-oriented thinking, focused on continuous improvement and lessons learned demonstrated ability to define and implement complex and interdependent business processes. Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work and negotiate with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across companies to align plans and resolve conflict. Strong presentation skills creating top-notch presentations and communicating at all levels with clarity and precision. Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver difficult messages; execute with limited information and ambiguity. Demonstrated ability to work in a large/complex company environment preferred. Technical, manufacturing, quality, or supply chain experience in a health care/medical company considered a plus. Experience in Project Management tools such as MS Project, Productboard, and/or JIRA. General knowledge of regulations and standards related to medical devices (e.g., FDA, ISO, QSR design controls).
