Job Description: Berklee is seeking a detail-oriented, student-centered Transcript Evaluator to join its dynamic division of Pre-College, Online, and Professional Programs (POPP). This full-time, fully remote role (35 hours/week) plays a critical part in advancing Berklees mission: to educate, train, and develop students to excel as musicians and creative industry leaders. By ensuring accurate transfer credit evaluation and degree progression, this position directly supports student success and access to world-class contemporary music education. POPP serves more than 3.5 million students worldwide through innovative online courses, summer programs, and professional education. The Transcript Evaluator contributes to this global impact by helping students navigate transfer pathways with clarity, efficiency, and care. Key Responsibilities Transfer Credit Evaluation & Advising Evaluate official and unofficial transcripts for internal and external transfer students in alignment with Berklee Online policies and turnaround expectations. Research institutions and coursework to determine accurate equivalencies and applicability to program requirements. Clearly communicate transfer decisions and manage reevaluation requests. Advise prospective and admitted students on transferable coursework and prior learning credit. Support Degree Completion and Study Abroad transfer advising. Degree Completion & Student Support Assist external, partner, and former students in completing degree requirements online. Identify potential academic risks through transcript review and enrollment analysis. Coordinate with the Registrars Office on registration and graduation clearance. Process Change of Program requests and related evaluations. Records, Systems & Data Maintain accurate records in SIS/CRM systems. Manage transfer communications and rebuild historical academic records as needed. Produce reporting and analyze trends to inform articulation agreements and process improvements. Collaboration Partner with academic leadership, Advising, Scheduling, Institutional Advancement, and others to create flexible, student-centered degree pathways. Contribute to recruitment, retention, and partnership initiatives. Qualifications Bachelors degree required; minimum one year of higher education experience. Experience with transcripts, transfer credit evaluation, or degree audits (Registrar or Admissions background preferred). Strong judgment, accuracy, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-evolving environment. Experience with Salesforce, Colleague, or Workday Student preferred; familiarity with FERPA and accreditation standards a plus. Musical background or knowledge of Berklee curricula preferred.
