The Patient Facilitator serves as a highly visible advocate and champion for patients and families, helping to navigate concerns, remove barriers, and enhance the overall patient experience. You will proactively engage with patients and families, identify and address their needs, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote communication, service excellence, and compassionate care .As a key liaison between patients, families, and hospital staff, you will uphold patient rights, foster trust, and contribute to a culture of respect, dignity, and accountability. This is a part-time (18.75 hours weekly) - 2-3 days per week - 10:00 AM 6:00 PM. Preferred Criteria Strong customer service skills Experience as a Chinese/English medical interpreter Required Criteria Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably hospital Proof of at least 40 hours of professional training in Medical Interpretation from an approved program, or Certificate of completion from an approved continuing education program, or completion of an approved nationally recognized language proficiency assessment, or certification from either the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters, or The Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
