Job Description: We are seeking a hands-on and quality-focused Production Lead to manage daily logistics and operations in a Class I medical device manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading a team of 10+ associates, overseeing production schedules, and driving process improvements to meet production goals. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Long Beach, CA and requires on-site presence five days a week. Key Responsibilities: Ensure consistent adherence to safety protocols and work procedures. Maintain tools, materials, and 5S organization in the production area. Lead production processes, provide training, and ensure compliance with technical specifications. Support Lean initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts. Monitor and report accurate Work in Progress (WIP) counts; perform cycle counts as needed. Collaborate with Management, Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse teams to meet production targets. Schedule and close work orders across all shifts. Track production output and ensure timely job completion. Accurately document production activities and report defects or issues. Adhere to safety policies and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in training and continuous improvement programs. Support cross-functional efforts and flexible work schedules, including shifts and overtime. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or GED. 4+ years of manufacturing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role. Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking). Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic math proficiency. Familiarity with computer systems for data entry and tracking. Ability to interpret written, verbal, and diagram instructions. Strong manual dexterity and ability to stand/work for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance. Preferred: Certification in cleanroom operations or related fields. Experience with ISO 13485 or other quality systems. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, or Kanban methodologies. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. We mean it when we say youll LOVE this role. Hourly Pay Rage: $25.75 - $29.61/ hour An employees pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Hydrafacial's total rewards package for our employees.
