Full Job Description

Wilson & Company is looking for a College Intern focused on Transportation Engineering to join our Phoenix, AZ office. As an Intern in our office: You will perform hands-on work to apply your classroom experience to real-world projects and help you envision your future career. Youll be an active member of our team, working for our clients on projects with our most experienced engineers. Youll be introduced to Wilson & Companys culture, helping you evaluate our firm as a future career choice. You will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate with partners to produce our clients visions for the future built environment. This is a year-round paid opportunity that could lead to full-time employment upon graduation! Required Skills: Civil Engineering student with an interest in a Transportation Engineering career, such as highway engineering, municipal roadway engineering, and traffic engineering. You will receive significant hands-on and tutorial training on a number of these as an employee. Highly responsible and dependable. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Positive attitude and an impeccable work ethic. Ability to work with a team under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer and/or Project Manager. Required Qualifications: Currently a Civil Engineering student with an interest in Transportation Engineering. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to commute to/from school to the office, and work in an office environment. No remote work anticipated. Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands. Please note that Wilson & Company is not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas.
