Field Coordinator Facilities ( Assistant Project Manager ) In this position as a Field Coordinator, the successful candidate will be an assistant project manager for construction and interior design projects throughout NYP. Examples of responsibilities include; assist with the development of RFPs, attend project meetings and provide meeting notes, arrange visits to project sites, as necessary, and compile and ensure the accuracy of data used for design, budgeting and scheduling, as examples. The successful candidate will work directly with NYP Project Managers to conduct job site inspections, ensure activities comply with hospital guidelines and external regulations, and prepare reports on project progress and safety. Additional responsibilities include overseeing the placement of furniture, fixtures and equipment for capital projects. The Field Coordinator position provides additional opportunities within the Facilities, Design and Construction department including mentorship, regular educational opportunities, and leadership development within Capital Project Management. This is a full time position working on projects affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center. Required Criteria: Associate's Degree Minimum of 4 years of related experience, with an Associate degree Minimum of 2 years of related experience, with a Bachelor's degree Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, WORD, PowerPoint, MS Project Ability to interpret client needs and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner Experience on construction job sites Willingness to learn Collaborative mindset Preferred Criteria: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design and/or Construction Experience with Project Management Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
