Immediate openings in the Charlotte, NC Area - We have what youre looking for: Competitive Compensation: $19.00 per hour with GUARANTEED automatic $.50 increases at both 60 days and 180 days. Modern Tools & Equipment: Use the latest safety equipment to accurately detect gas leaks and quickly analyze data. Use tools to perform small repairs on live gas lines in addition to leak survey/investigation. Work Independently: After training, youll get to show off your time management & problem-solving skills by working independently. Exploring the great outdoors: Work outside in the fresh air, typically walking 5+ miles per day. Work Schedule - Full Time Monday to Friday 1st shift What youll need to be considered: Education: High School Diploma OR GED Drivers License: Valid, unexpired Drivers license What youll need to succeed: Passion for Environmental Safety: Are you driven by a commitment to safety? Youll play a key role in the detection of natural gas leaks to protect the community and prevent harm. Tech Enthusiast: Direct experience working with hands-on technology is a plus. Yes, your phone & computer count! Our technicians use cutting-edge technology & equipment to ensure accurate leak detection. Problem Solving: Help navigate any natural gas incidents and use our training to implement the proper solution. Superb Customer Service: Youre the face of the company. Giving our clients peace of mind by being professional & responsive is the top priority. Communication Skills: Ability to accurately relay findings and convey information is key. Attention to Detail: Being vigilant and staying focused while working is key when locating leaks. Physical Stamina: Technicians work outdoors & must have endurance to perform tasks effectively and safely. (For Some Positions) Personal vehicle for daily work use: Technicians are eligible for mileage reimbursement to cover the cost of gas & other vehicle maintenance. Physical Requirements: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day; carry up to 20 lbs. of equipment.
