Now Hiring: Equipment Operators Heart of Florida Landfill Lake Panasoffkee, FL We are currently seeking experienced, safetyconscious Equipment Operators to join our team at Heart of Florida Landfill. Prior landfill or waste experience is a big plus, but were willing to train the right candidate who brings a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Schedule: 5am-4:30pm and 7am-6:30pm | MondayFriday with occasional Saturdays Hours: 4555 hours per week Pay: $24$26+ per hour DOE Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance around the site and facility Spread and compact trash using a Compactor Apply daily cover using a Dozer Excavate soil with an Excavator Haul soil as needed Working Conditions Outdoor landfill environment Work near moving mechanical parts Exposure to wet/humid conditions, vibration, fumes, or airborne particles Clean, welllit, and ventilated areas What Were Looking For Experience operating a forklift, dozer, or articulated dump truck preferred Ability to learn and safely operate sitespecific equipment independently Willingness to follow PPE requirements and safety protocols Teamoriented mindset with flexibility to take on new responsibilities Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly Apply today and connect with your future!
