Join our dedicated culinary team! We're seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Prep & Service Attendant to assist in delivering high-quality food service to our campus community. Position Details: Pay: Starting rate ranges from $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Schedule: 40 hours weekly, 12-month year-round position, Sunday through Thursday Sunday 10:30a - 7:00 pm, Monday through Thursday 12:00 - 8:30 pm, with Friday and Saturday off. Schedules are subject to change based on departmental needs. Responsibilities: Assist in daily food preparation and production, including washing, peeling, and cutting various foods, making sandwiches, and performing short order cooking. Maintain service areas and equipment during meal periods; clean and sanitize food and service areas as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, assisting with orders, and representing Dining Services professionally. Ensure all food items are accurately labeled for allergens, utilizing FSS, Net Nutrition, and Bartender programs. Adhere to HACCP guidelines and MA Code regulations regarding food safety, inventory control, and sanitation. Promote environmental practices such as composting, recycling, and waste reduction using Lean Path. Complete BBP and MSDS training; maintain Steritech compliance; establish daily/weekly cleaning schedules with management. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Ability to work independently and stand for extended periods; capable of lifting at least 40 lbs. Energetic, enthusiastic, and possess strong customer service skills. Professional demeanor in interactions with customers and staff. Prior food service experience is preferred. Application review will begin May 1, 2026 and continue until the position is filled.
