Next Generation Spectacles are our first pair of glasses that bring augmented reality to life. We're looking for a Fab Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team on 3rd shift (10 pm-6:30 am)! What youll do: Respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot and return equipment to production in a timely manner Undertake planned maintenance in accordance with a predefined maintenance schedule and actively sustain manufacturing equipment Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly in accordance with specifications to comply with applied standards Effectively troubleshoot control systems, vacuum, electronic, electrical, and mechanical problems Own preventative and corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment; develop specifications, troubleshooting methodologies, and support systems Use schematics, tools, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment Disassemble, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and Original Equipment Manufacturers manuals Identify and implement machine improvements to increase efficiency, yield, productivity and reduce operating costs Ensure engineering principles and procedures are adhered to by other employees when operating equipment Develop a positively safe and environmental culture to satisfy ISO 18001 and ISO 140001 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of semiconductor, optical device, optical system or display technology equipment Strong analytical and problem solving ability Pro-active and capable of working without direct supervision. Can effectively prioritize time and identify and focus on priority issues Adaptable to changing circumstances Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Experience working with vendors to troubleshoot and repair equipment Experience implementing machine improvements to reduce operating costs Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a semiconductor fabrication environment Prior work experience as a maintenance technician in a similar fabrication environment. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: 7+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a semiconductor fabrication environment AA/AS degree in electronic engineering or electronic technology diploma Experience managing or training technicians Experience working with vendors to troubleshoot and repair equipment Proven experience implementing machine improvements to reduce operating costs If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please dont be shy and provide us some information. Compensation In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $89,000-$133,000 annually. Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$126,000 annually. Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $76,000-$113,000 annually. This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
