Overview: As McKesson separates its Medical-Surgical business unit into a new independent entity, we are seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional efforts that support global security and operational readiness. This role is essential to ensuring that physical security protocols, risk mitigation strategies, and incident response plans are in place and aligned across global sites. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership, operational awareness, and a proactive approach to managing risk and readiness in a dynamic transformation environment. In addition to security and compliance, this role will play a key part in operational continuity, including site preparedness, logistics coordination, and transition planning to ensure business operations remain uninterrupted throughout the separation. Key Responsibilities Lead cross-functional planning and execution of separation-related projects with a focus on EH&S, physical security, and operational readiness. Document environmental compliance and manage hazardous materials in alignment with regulatory standards. Oversee OSHA recordkeeping and reporting using platforms like Sedgwick, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Develop and maintain incident tracking systems and performance dashboards for EH&S and security metrics. Manage transportation safety programs and ensure compliance with applicable logistics and regulatory requirements. Facilitate investigations and ensure adherence to OSHA and internal safety protocols across operational sites. Support regulatory compliance activities including audits, disclosures, and permit transitions during the separation. Align global EH&S and security strategies with site readiness plans, ensuring operational continuity across impacted locations. Collaborate with facilities, logistics, and transformation teams to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations. Provide leadership with regular updates on operational readiness, risk posture, and project milestones. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization. Strong understanding of physical security, risk management, and incident response planning. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficient in Smartsheet and Excel, with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives using PowerPoint. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
