Lean Practitioner Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Lean Practitioner (Level 3 or Level 4) to join our Lean Improvement Team, known internally as the Moonshine Team, located in Renton WA. We primarily operate in Renton, but also extend support to the broader south side of Renton. The successful candidate will be required to work at various locations based on project needs. The Moonshine Team provides the skills and resources necessary for every team member to continuously improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency across the Boeing Production System (BPS). As the Lean Practitioner, you will work directly with Lean improvement teams to implement enhancements, facilitate workshops, engage with customers, and teach lean tools while actively participating in building improvements. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of lean principles, demonstrate adaptability, and bring a positive, collaborative spirit to the team. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced or Senior Lean Practitioner. Position Responsibilities: Instructs others in continuous improvement tools and principles Develops and updates instructional materials Mentors lean personnel and less experienced practitioners Works with internal or external customers Leads and facilitates complex process improvement efforts Identifies risks and opportunities for improvement Creates enhancements to existing improvement tools Supports the development and deployment of new tools Owns the Boeing Production System deployment for the team This position is 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Renton, WA. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience in using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace 3+ years of experience teaching Lean+ tools and concepts 3+ years of experience leading a cross-functional team Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to work a variable shift Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Level 4: 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years of experience leading or facilitating process improvement activities such as 5S, VSM, AIW, 3P, AMW/TPM, M&I, RCA, and Systematic Problem-Solving 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing 1+ years of experience supporting, leading, and delegating the project team's responsibilities and tasks through all stages of the project life cycle 1+ years of Project Management experiences or certification 1+ years of experience coaching team members and leaders in an operations environment Strong communication skills Shift: Successful candidates will primarily work the 1st shift, but should be prepared for flexible hours based on business needs. Occasional support for 2nd and 3rd shifts may also be required.
