Job Summary The Operations Analyst will assist with vendor management and customer billing by working closely with the internal Project Management teams, Technical Account Management teams, Services Accounting, and SHIs subcontractor network. They will work to improve processes, ensure process consistency, and ensure service projects are billed accurately and on time. The Analyst will also extract, analyze, and process billing data to generate customer invoices. This position will report to a Manager within the PMO.This position is required to report to the Austin, TX office location as determined by SHI management. Role Description Manage and process billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy from subcontractor to customer. Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve billing issues and provide status updates. Analyze and audit billing data to generate and process invoices accurately. Act as a subject matter expert for billing and invoicing processes. Develop and document process improvements to enhance efficiency. Create reports and dashboards to monitor business health and future trends. Communicate processes and act as a liaison between operations and other teams. Define and manage business and technical requirements for projects. Coordinate and manage projects from discovery to completion, providing updates to stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement system changes and improvements. Data Analysis: Can identify patterns and trends in data, propose hypotheses, and use statistical techniques to test them. Problem-Solving: Can identify problems, propose solutions, and take action to resolve them without explicit instructions. Collaboration: Can actively participate in team discussions, respect differing opinions, and collaborate with others to achieve common goals. Skill Level Requirements The ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently. - Basic Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including the use of formulas, functions, pivot tables, and data visualization tools. - Basic Knowledge of various project management frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum, to effectively plan, execute, and close projects. - Basic Competence in utilizing tools like Jira, Trello, MS Project, or DevOps to plan, track, and manage project progress and resources. - Basic Other Requirements Completed Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience required 2+ years of professional experience in Managed Services billing or Project Management/Coordination 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, IT operations, and/or project management 1-3 years of professional experience working with Microsoft Office applications Ability to travel 10% Preferred Skills Autotask by Datto Airtable Database Applicatinos Billing Software Microsoft SharePoint The estimated annual pay range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
