Full Job Description

You will be responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple, related projects directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives. Responsible for all forecasting and planning activities associated with requests for new projects/initiatives, including demand intake, prioritization, and managing demand through the entire process lifecycle. You will report to our Transformation Director. In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from Madison, WI. Position Compensation Range: $99,000.00 - $167,000.00 Pay Rate Type: Salary Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates. Primary Accountabilities Ensures regular business alignment and prioritization of demand with resource and budgetary capacity, collaborating with cross functional teams. Establishes, maintains, and provides management reporting using appropriate metrics. Ensures effective communication with project sponsors, project managers, functional and resource managers, and other stakeholders. Engages key stakeholders to evaluate proposed and ongoing projects based on value, risk, effort, cost and strategic alignment. Engages key stakeholders in adopting enterprise standards and improving portfolio Management maturity. Provides formal training and support for project and portfolio management. Develops and maintains governance tools, templates, guidelines, procedures and processes Leads with influence and expertise. Actively contributes to division or department leadership team. Communicates and supports organization mission, vision, values, policies, and practices. Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service. Extensive experience with project/program and portfolio management tools, methods and practices. Demonstrated experience effectively communicating with senior leaders Demonstrated experience with budget, metrics and other operational analyses. Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Agile methodology, software development lifecycle and SAFe Framework Solid knowledge and understanding of operational and strategic planning. Travel Requirements Up to 10%. Physical Requirements Work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
