Invenergy follows a hybrid schedule, working in office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays if work permits. Job Description Position Overview The responsibilities of the Procurement Analyst include supporting the development and execution of procurement strategies for the existing and future Solar, Storage, and Electrical portfolio by developing alternative sources of supply, negotiating and executing contracts, managing strategic relationships with key suppliers, contractors, manufacturers, and internal department. aggregating and performing spend analysis and reporting, overseeing warehouse planning, issuing bids, and managing relationships with key suppliers and internal departments, while driving towards cost reduction and improved fleet availability. The role will report to the Operations Procurement Senior Manager. This position works from Invenergy's office in downtown Chicago. Responsibilities: Support purchasing and contracting of major equipment and parts across Invenergy's operating solar and storage projects. Support the development of fleetwide initiatives for investment to minimize downtime associated with critical electrical equipment including pad mount transformers, main power transformers, and HV breakers. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve recommended spare parts inventory for all solar and battery project based on fleet consumption, OEM and stakeholder feedback, supply chain changes, and other contributing factors. Support initiatives to evaluate battery technology roadmaps to proactively identify and mitigate obsolescence risks. Actively build effective relationships with suppliers to evaluate products and services Prepare and manage formal and informal bids from Request for Proposal (RFP) through contract execution, implementation, and fleetwide administration; assess incumbent supplier performance based upon organizational key performance indicators Negotiate and execute contracts; manage contractual obligations within delegated scope of responsibility and in accordance with Invenergys procurement policies Work with cross-functional teams including Construction, Asset Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Legal, Site Operations, and Accounting to manage site and customer-level contractual and procurement requirements Conduct studies and spend analyses to determine new or better sources of supply for products, services or commodities within areas of assigned responsibility; perform continuous contract management and process improvement within sourcing scope Analyze market trends and government/regulatory conditions and assess their impact on future activities to provide strategy recommendations to leadership. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Willing to travel up to 25% of the time. Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Educational background in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management. 2+ years of experience in procurement or strategic logistics. Familiar with equipment supply and construction agreements. Thorough understanding of the legal aspects of procurement. Ability to be adaptable and work in a dynamic environment alongside people with diverse interests and backgrounds. Base Pay $70,000.00 - 88,000.00 USD Annual Bonus: 15% The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills. In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance.
