We are currently recruiting for a Mail Processing Clerk to join our dynamic Production Operations team in South Windsor. Work Mode: This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time. Broadridge is growing! We are currently recruiting for a Mail Processing Clerk to join our multi-faceted Production Operations team! We are looking for someone to ensure daily operational requirements are met for the manual processing of jobs, use offline postage meters and other resources such as UPS or FedEx to make all SLAs. We need an individual who can be an active contributor to team efforts by assisting the production unit in realizing common objectives. Responsibilities: Ability to perform basic offline inserting functions such as hand stuffing jobs, posting envelopes on a table-top meter machine. Perform all quality control related procedures including but not limited to First Piece Sign-off (FPSO) and Last Piece Sign-off (LPSO). You will be able to follow defined operating processes and quality control procedures. Assist the mailroom lead by checking raw material supplies to support work order requirements and advising of shortages as necessary. Maintains a clean, safe, and efficient working environment by following established safety procedures and rules; troubleshooting malfunctions and reporting the need for repairs; keeping equipment and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion. Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of equipment by following manufactures recommendations for accurate use and operation. Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential, protecting printed documentation per established policies and procedures. Assist associates with projects or administrative work as necessary. Work independently; good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Knowledge High School graduate with 2+ years related industry/equipment experience, or equivalent education and experience. Basic PC skills. Ability to follow defined procedures and adhere to quality standards. Self-starter; shows initiative; ability to conduct business in a professional manner. Requires reading, analyzing information and implementing solutions. Requires the ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as the need arises. Requires standing for long periods of time, lifting waist high up to 40 pounds regularly. Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 Hourly USD per hour.
