The Opportunity This position works out of our St. Paul, MN location in the Abbott Vascular Devices division. Key Responsibilities Operator II, Assemble medical device products with precision and accuracy Work within a cleanroom following strict SOPs, GMP, and FDA guidelines Utilize microscopes regularly for inspection and assembly (musthave skill) Inspect, test, package, and box products as needed Rotate and crosstrain across various workstations; flexibility is required Follow detailed rules, guidelines, and quality standards Stand for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs Report to work on time and adhere to the assigned shift schedule Use tools such as electrical torque drivers and screwdrivers Complete multiweek training across departments Required Qualifications 13 years experience in a cleanroom environment Previous experience using microscopes Medical device assembly experience preferred Ability to speak, read, and write English Understanding of SOPs, FDA, and GMP guidelines preferred High School Diploma or GED required Physical & Cleanroom Requirements Must gown up daily: hair net, beard net (if applicable), shoe covers, safety glasses Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without issue Soft Skills & Expectations Reliability and punctuality Flexibility to work and train in multiple departments Ability to learn processes and follow detailed instructions Willingness to adapt to different workstations (no inflexibility) Apply Now Learn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: www.abbottbenefits.com Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
