Job Summary Responsible for performing a variety of clerical functions which include but are not limited to; Registration, Insurance Verification, Money Collection, Collection of Documentation, referral of patient to the Medicaid and Financial Aid units so as to ensure the efficient operation of the various departments within HSR. Responsible for billing accounts once insurance information has been secured, while maintaining all Customer Service and departmental Guidelines. *Work days: Alternate; Weekends, Holidays, Monday & Fridays Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Required BS Preferred 1-3 years Work experienced Experience in collection and/or insurance verification. Preferred Must be experienced in providing excellent customer service and problem escalation/resolution in high volume atmosphere. Required Candidates must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent telephone and face to face communication. Must be able to work independently and get along with others. Must successfully pass pre-hire assessments; Math, grammar/vocabulary & customer service with a score of 80% or above.
