We have an immediate need for an onsite Test Equipment Quality Engineer (TEQE) at the Tewksbury site, supporting Sensor Test Solutions (STS) department. Within Quality & Mission Assurance (QMA), the TEQE section comes under the Product Assurance and Test (PAT) department provides services to the Business throughout the product development lifecycle. Job duties include classified activities in secure labs and unclassified activities in a dedicated workspace. Common TEQE tasks involve review of design review packages, procurement tasks, participating in software code reviews, validation and sell-off activities related to test equipment (internal and with customer), verifying physical media/media archival, preparing test artifacts, reviewing and interpreting command media for implementation. Key Partners You Will Work With: TEQE works with its Engineering partners from STS, Factory operations, Configuration Management, including Program Quality Managers. Primary activities occur daily onsite in Tewksbury, MA. This is an Onsite role in Tewksbury, MA What You will Do: Compliance Ensure digital products adhere to contractual and corporate requirements. Review and approve inputs and outputs to/from Software, Systems, and Integration & Test activities for test equipment. Processes Leverage command media and quality best practices with respect to the design, development and sell-off of test equipment. Improvement Perform evaluations and risk assessments across lifecycle, facilitate root cause/corrective action (RCCA) and implement continuous improvement with corrective actions. Products Ensure integrity of the technical data package. Identify, collect, and measure quality attributes, metrics, and data. Monitor and participate in the release of test equipment and related capabilities to production. Teamwork Interact with customers, product development, and test personnel. Provide guidance to senior managers, team members, and group peers. Qualifications You Must Have : Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than two (2) years of relevant experience in the areas below; You must have two years or less working experience in a Quality or Technical role and applying advanced concepts across at least THREE of the following. Compliance Evaluation: validation, verification, auditing, action items. Requirements Verification: functionality, performance, release plans, statement of work, contracts. Maintenance Processes: patches, upgrades, installation, backups, recovery, synchronization. Defect Management: dispositioning, prioritization, resolution, implementation. Integration Support: classified labs, systems, hardware, connectivity, tools, equipment. Test Witnessing: test plans, test procedures, use cases, scenarios, requirements traceability, test reports, test sites. Records Management: executables, release notes, security bulletins, training manuals, user guides, customer deliverables. Release Management: checklists, labels, versions, licenses, repositories. Technology Knowledge: servers / appliances, virtual machines, networks, storage. Analysis: Experience with Root Cause identification of process issues, or, Debugging of software/system errors (bugs, failures, triage), and Corrective Action. Metrics: Experience with identification, development, monitoring, reporting, measurement, dashboards. PowerPoint: Experience creating and submitting presentations for/to Senior Management. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Additionally Standards: Experience with Quality concepts via ISO9001, AS9100, AS9115. Policies: Experience with a Quality Management System (QMS) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Methodologies: Experience in Continuous Improvement methods (e.g., Six Sigma, CORE). The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
