Role summary: The Senior Analyst, Merchandising Operations plays a critical role in supporting business plans and driving operational excellence by identifying needs, managing cross-functional initiatives, and delivering actionable insights. This position involves overseeing merchandising programs, facilitating communication, and guiding training efforts to enhance performance. The role requires strong analytical skills to evaluate data, recommend system improvements, and translate strategies into executable plans. The Senior Analyst collaborates with stakeholders to remove obstacles, adapt to change, and promote continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with company values and business objectives to deliver measurable results. About the team: The team supports the execution of business plans and key initiatives focused on assortment activations for Fresh Produce and Bakery. They collaborate across functions to manage merchandising programs, analyze data, and drive operational improvements. By identifying priorities and removing obstacles, the team ensures effective project delivery and continuous performance enhancement. They provide expert guidance, develop training content, and communicate strategies to align with business goals. What you'll do: Support execution of business plans by identifying operational needs, developing priorities, and removing barriers to enhance performance. Manage cross-functional initiatives impacting merchandising programs, store and corporate processes, and associate training content. Provide insights and recommendations on merchandise priorities and system support developments to senior management and business partners. Oversee training programs by identifying opportunities, assisting in content development, and evaluating effectiveness for continuous improvement. Analyze data to drive solutions, recommend process changes, and support internal customers with project requests and plans. Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to implement business solutions aligned with customer and company needs. What you'll bring: Proven experience in managing cross-functional initiatives and merchandising operations to drive business results. Strong skills in data analysis and interpreting customer and operational insights to inform decision-making. Expertise in developing and communicating business plans, priorities, and performance standards. Ability to identify training needs, support content development, and evaluate training effectiveness.
