Position Summary... What you'll do... Role summary: The Senior Analyst, Operations plays a critical role in supporting project planning, execution, and resource management to drive operational excellence. This position involves analyzing complex business challenges, developing solutions, and collaborating cross-functionally to implement scalable best practices. The role requires effective communication with stakeholders, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement of operational tools and processes. By providing expert guidance and fostering strong partnerships, the Senior Analyst contributes to achieving business objectives while upholding company values and promoting a culture of integrity and accountability. About the team: The Platform Stability organization ensures a seamless driver experience by maintaining accurate and timely earnings throughout the Spark Driver lifecycle. The Earnings Defect & Prevention function manages earnings-related issues by collaborating with Engineering, Finance, Product, and Trust & Safety teams. This team detects and resolves anomalies, implements monitoring systems, and safeguards driver trust at scale. Focused on operational excellence, the group drives continuous improvements through effective project and operations management, clear communication, adaptability, and accountability to support reliable business operations and enhance overall platform stability. What you'll do: Defect Strategy & System Support: Analyze defects impacting trip success and earnings, identify patterns and impact, and support improvements to the earnings experience. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to document, route, and monitor defects. Early Warning & Escalation: Monitor dashboards and signals to detect early indicators in the earnings experience. Escalate emerging risks to cross-functional partners. Jira Governance: Create and maintain high-quality defect tickets with clear, complete details. Uphold strong ticket hygiene and coach peers on best practices. Leverage AI Tools: Utilize AI-powered platforms to proactively identify earnings-impacting anomalies, accelerate root cause analysis, and support faster, data-driven decision-making. What you'll bring: Expertise in business analysis, including identifying root causes and developing data-driven solutions. Proficiency in communication to effectively engage stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Working knowledge of defect and case management tools (e.g., Jira, AirTable), operational triage workflows, and AI-driven productivity tools used for analysis, reporting, and automation Strong decision-making abilities to drive corrective actions and optimize operational processes. Familiarity with on trip app behavior, routing, and earnings calculations within gig, logistics, delivery, or mobility platforms.
