JOB DESCRIPTION: The Opportunity Our Infectious Disease Business Unit currently has an opportunity for a Sr. Manager, BHR supporting our Global R&D, NPI/PMO and Medical Scientific teams based in Lake Forest, IL. What Youll Work On Partners with leadership teams to drive business objectives and deliver strong results. Influences and collaborates with the Leadership teams, implementing programs related to developing our people, organizational design and development, and employee relations and ensuring all timelines set by corporate programs are met and adhered to throughout the year. Provides consultative guidance and coaching to managers and employees on human resources and business-related matters. Collaborates closely with business leaders to define and implement business-specific programs to ensure a culture of high performance and ethics, high engagement and enablement, and overall org effectiveness. Gathers and analyzes workgroup data analysis for leaders and provides recommendations for improvement. Provides guidance and interprets policies for leaders and employees on best practices in HR and while prioritizing the many organizational and workgroup priorities. Provides HR expertise and guidance to ensure compliance with HR Employment Law and Employee Relations matters working with In-house Counsel, to mitigate business risk. Identifies and implements change initiatives required to ensure successful delivery of business strategy. Identifies gaps within management teams and facilitates training and team development sessions as needed to ensure development with first-line managers. Facilitates the Human Resources (HR) needs around hiring, management, training, compensation, and benefits aligned with best practices partnering with our CoEs. Serves as a resource for managers in maintaining a positive and rewarding work experience for employees, and builds consultative relationships, demonstrating the value of HR as a consistent knowledgeable, trusted, go-to resource. Opportunity to engage in Division BHR programs and initiatives to drive self-development and build internal networks. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business that business decisions and actions are fully executed per the agreed upon plans. Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 8+ years Human Resources Experience with a heavy focus on team development and coaching leaders 5+ years of proven experience in developing HR Solutions for business challenges Demonstrated success as HR Partner in areas of Engagement, Employee Relations, Compensation, Learning & Development, and Talent Management. Demonstrated experience in building strong client relations. Travel approximately 20%. The base pay for this position is $129,300.00 $258,700.00 In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
