The Client Service Carel Coordinator position directs, plans and coordinates a variety of patient and client service functions that are related to the client management and healthcare teams for the Surgery Department. They build customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. These functions include, but are not limited to: Act as a liaison between client and doctor. Update charges and financial estimates for continued care. Create and present financial estimates to clients, including helping clients understand the costs for the pet's care. Process payments and handle cash. Educate clients on financing options and answering client questions. The Client Service Care Coordinator will have an in depth working knowledge of veterinary medicine, hospital financial procedures and protocols, financing options, and client communication. This position is responsible for ensuring a smooth transition for the client and patient from the time they enter the exam room to the point of discharging the patient.
