Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up, operate, and strike audio, video, lighting, and presentation equipment for live events, meetings, and productions Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audiovisual systems before and during events to ensure seamless execution Coordinate with clients, event staff, and vendors to understand production requirements and deliver high-quality event support Conduct routine maintenance, testing, and inventory management of audiovisual equipment to ensure operational readiness Assist with event load-in/load-out activities, including equipment transportation, cabling, staging, and system configuration. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. Education and/or Experience Must have a High School Diploma or GED. 3 to 5 years of experience working in a live performing arts venue/center/theater. Technical degree or certification preferred. Skills and Abilities Knowledge and experience working with stagehand personnel. Knowledge of operations, maintenance, and facility management. Working knowledge of applicable OSHA, state, and other work environment safety regulations. Working knowledge of fire and public safety issues.
