Job Description Position Overview As the NERC Regulatory ComplianceAssociate, you will use attention to detail, technical writing, project management, utility expertise, IT/OT acumen, and critical thinking to support Invenergys Reliability Compliance program. Successful candidates will be able to work independently and as part of a team. The Compliance Associate provides support to the entire Invenergy fleet with emphasis on electricity generation regulatory requirements (NERC & IESO) associated with cyber security. This on-site position is based out of InvenergysdowntownChicago office. Responsibilities Support a growing operating fleet with the demonstration of cyber security (CIP)compliance (Physical and Electronic Security) Independently serve as the NERC Programs Evidence Custodian Collect, organize, and synthesize technicaldata Write concise statements that reflect the application of synthesized evidence to the applicable regulatory rule todeterminecompliance Work with internal groups to communicate changes or updates that require action from the projects. Conduct ad hoc industryresearch Independently perform Access Management reviews, approvals, and conduct periodic audits Lead internal control actions through independent research and investigation. Support NERC Program procedures such as content updating. Compose statements to evaluate compliance with the applicable regulatory rule. Partner with internal groups including IT, Operations, Physical Security, Field Personnel, and Asset Management to communicate changes or updates that require action by the projects. Provide periodic NERC training to internal support groups and field personnel. Perform other job-related duties asassigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related discipline with an engineering/power system focus and/or equivalent industry experience. 3+ years of relevant compliance experience. Ability to gain a comprehensive understanding of IT operations/securities and power generation operations. Demonstrated project management skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Willingness to travel between 5-10% Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications Ability to gain a comprehensive understanding of IT operations/securities and power generation operations. Prior knowledge of applicable NERC, ERCOT, PJM, SPP & IESO cyber security standards Certifications: CISSP, CISM, and CISA Knowledge of utility scale and/or renewable power systems. Critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems with limited managerial oversight. Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines. Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information. Excellent organizational, presentation/facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills. Nimble and collaborative work ethic. Base Pay $103,000.00 - $124,000.00 USD Annual Bonus: 20% - 30% The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills. In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance.
