Housekeeping Supervisor McKinley Park Care Center Sacramento, CA $23.00 - $27.00 per hour Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Full-Time Join Our Team at McKinley Park Care Center! McKinley Park Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our environmental services team. If you take pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff, we'd love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized leader with housekeeping and supervisory experience, preferably within a healthcare, long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing setting. What You'll Do As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure the facility maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Key Responsibilities Supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate daily work schedules. Conduct routine inspections of resident rooms, common areas, offices, and facility grounds. Plan and schedule deep cleaning projects, move-in preparations, carpet care, and other special cleaning programs. Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies, equipment, and chemicals. Order department supplies and ensure proper storage and handling procedures. Train, mentor, and support housekeeping team members. Assist with departmental meetings and staff development programs. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, MSDS, state, federal, and facility safety regulations. Assist with hands-on housekeeping duties as needed. Help maintain department budgets and monitor supply usage. Prepare resident housekeeping charges and billing when applicable. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and exceptional customer service. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Minimum one (1) year of housekeeping or related experience. Prior supervisory, scheduling, or leadership experience. Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Preferred Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation Center, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Healthcare environment. Previous Environmental Services (EVS) leadership experience. Ideal Candidate You are: A team-oriented leader who leads by example. Detail-oriented with strong quality standards. Committed to providing excellent service and support to others. Physical Requirements Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
